Founders

The Coaching Supervision Academy (CSA) was formally established in 2001 by Edna Murdoch and Miriam Orriss. Both practicing coaches, they discovered a distinct lack of supervision options, so decided to solve the problem themselves.

With dovetailing interests and areas of expertise, Edna and Miriam were well-placed to shape the emerging coaching CPD area that became known as ‘supervision’. They have worked with organisations large and small, introduced coaching supervision to the public sector, changed the professional lives of countless individuals and done pioneering work through Supervision-on-Call and through introducing concepts from Field Theory and Quantum Physics to Coaching Supervision.

I used to think it was enough to speak with one of my coach buddies if I needed to debrief from a coaching session. Having now worked with CSA in formal coaching supervision, I have seen that that was really only a quick fix.
