AoCS Event: Across Boundaries May 21

Across Boundaries – a reminder to book now

Across Boundaries is our first joint event in the UK in May – and the early bird rate is closing tomorrow on March 11th! So don’t delay and do book now to get some great savings on this event.

Why now? This event is timely and is a chance to take a look at ourselves, to adapt to the changing environment, and to an evolving profession. This event will focus on the emerging themes in the field of coaching, mentoring, and coach supervision – what are the key changes and how should we respond to them?

Key benefits?

Across Boundaries will enable us to:
Avoid the usual barriers by having a dynamic exchange with colleagues drawn from all coaching associations
Come together from different perspectives, to collaborate and share our diverse experience
Attract others to network around key topics of importance in the field

Themes are already emerging and, on registration, you are invited to comment and add to the themes, by visiting the Across Boundaries LinkedIn Group: http://goo.gl/Y19m3E

Plus…

The launch of International Supervision Day (21st May) during International Coaching Week. We are encouraging creative ideas from you for this day!
Some live research on a key topic…more to come on this.

How is it organised?

The structure will provide parallel sessions for group discussions, and spaces for people to free-form around delegate ideas and proposals.

Facilitators are appointed to group sessions to capture outputs/key focus/essence of discussion, and we will provide ‘landing points’ for more popular topics, to merge and summarise discussion points made and invite feedback.

So open space doesn’t have to mean randomness or lack of clarity. We will keep track of time and logistics and allow for adequate networking in the breaks.

There will be a strong summary and bring together session at the end, encouraging continuation of discussions, themes on LinkedIn, etc.

When and where?

We have chosen Heythrop Park in Oxfordshire as a lovely country venue to get us away from it all, in nature, amongst friends.

Welcome evening on 20th May – we are encouraging members to arrive in the evening on 20th May for an introductory session with a welcome drink, to hear a key message from one of our sponsors, EMCC International, followed by dinner with colleagues. ‘Early bird’ evening fee is only GBP36, plus your accommodation to book and pay for separately. Book at http://www.theocm-store.com/5-events

Event day on 21st May – a full day of open space discussion plus networking.

Early bird fee is only GBP122.40 inc VAT if you book now! http://www.theocm-store.com/5-events

Venue: Heythrop Park, Enstone, Oxfordshire OX7 5UE. Do ask if you need help in finding accommodation.

Last call to action!

Do come and join us for what will be a stimulating and hopefully memorable event, with our friends from The OCM and the other major coaching associations.

If you cannot decide just now, book after the 11th March – we have kept prices really low to encourage all members to come.
