I have worked extensively in personal and organisational development for many years. This has ranged from small local companies through to global businesses. Throughout this I have been fascinated by the relationship between the individual and her/ his wider cultural context.
My writing has been a theme throughout this time. For example, ' The Management of Interpersonal Skills Training' co-authored with Tony Fraser, Gower, 1982 based on our work at Roffey Park Management College; ' A Consultancy Approach to Training and Development', co-authored with Patricia Shaw, Gower, 1997; and ' Coaching in Organisations: Between the Lines', Claremont, 2004, which became a core text for the Cipd foundation coaching course.
I am a certified transactional analyst ( organisations) and this has inspired my approach to coaching and coaching supervision, whether implicitly or explicitly.
My web-site has free downloads available for a number of my papers and articles on topics such as betrayal, haunting, anger, envy, transition and the shadow.
