Jeff Hasenfratz

Jeff leads Mindsight Executive Development Services, a Shanghai-based consulting firm which helps organizational clients improve their value and effectiveness through better collaboration, and individual clients enhance their professional and personal development.  An executive team coach, coaching supervisor, dialogue facilitator, and Chinese speaker, Jeff has lived in Asia for 28 years. 

 

Jeff’s 30 years of experience in the technology and human capital consulting industries includes functional specialization in business development and in talent assessment, development, and transition.   Previous corporate associations include Hewlett Packard, Cincinnati Bell Information Systems, and Russell Reynolds Associates, with assignments in Tokyo and Hong Kong. 

 

Mindsight was established in Hong Kong in 2001 and in Shanghai in 2008.  Client organizations include professional services firms, plus Fortune 200 firms in the technology, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, consumer goods, and financial services industries.  Selected client organizations include Bridgestone, Caterpillar, Deloitte, Fast Fish, MAN ES, New York Life, Owens Corning, and PopCap Games.  Executive clients are typically CEOs, Managing Directors, Senior Partners, and their Teams.

 

Clients benefit not only from Jeff’s ability to help C-Suite teams gain and leverage greater self and team awareness, leading to increased effectiveness.  They also enjoy his practical focus, energy, and humorous, learning-partner style. 

 

In addition to being certified as a Coaching Supervisor through the Coaching Supervision Academy, Jeff is certified as an Integral Coach through New Ventures West and as a Team Coach (ORSCC) through CRR Global.  He has also served as an Adjunct Coach with the Center for Creative Leadership.  Jeff holds the degree of Juris Doctor (Law) and has taught collaboration skills in his client workshops and at the Hult International Business School, Shanghai.  Jeff is also certified to interpret the results of the Hogan, MBTI, FIRO-B, and SDI assessment tools. 

 

Jeff founded the Shanghai Coaches’ Learning Group in 2008, and is also a founding member of what is now called the Hong Kong International Coaching Community.  He is also a member of the ICF and the International Association of Facilitators.  In his spare time, Jeff volunteers with Lifeline Shanghai and the CoachActivism Program, and enjoys practicing Chen-style taichi.
