My work allows other coaches to reflect so that they may gain awareness and insight and continue their development.
Seth Levenson is an experienced consultant, coach, and coaching supervisor with an entrepreneurial track record in strategy consulting, executive education, software development, and change management. He helps clients focus their efforts in ways that will drive meaningful change and significant results.
Seths easy style and keen sense of humor allow him to be direct and, as one client noted, to say things in a way that people can hear them. He prides himself on what another client called, being firm and gentle at the same time. Using head, heart and gut, Seth is able to listen deeply, make sense of a situation, and offer up questions and observations that create practical insight. He then gets out of the way to let his clients be responsible for their own successes.
Before his coaching and supervision career, Seth was Vice President and Founder of the People Solutions Practice at Digitas, then a publicly-traded marketing agency focused on helping its clients connect with their customers through multiple channels. Additionally, Seth was a Co-founder and Chairman of Executive Perspectives, where he was responsible for both firm management and client delivery until after he sold the firm to a publicly-held company. Early in his career, Seth worked in consulting at Bain & Company, focused on consumer products and acquisition analysis.
Seths larger clients have included: ABB, Allergan, American Express, Amgen, Bain Capital, BCG, Bessemer Venture Partners, BlackRock, Boston Scientific, CDMSmith, CVS, Deutsche Bank, E*trade, EnerNOC, Fidelity, Hasbro, Hewlett Packard, Home Depot, IBM, JetBlue, Johnson & Johnson, Microsoft, Morgan Stanley, New Enterprise Associates, New York Life, Novartis, Novonordisk, Progressive Insurance, Proskauer, Ropes & Gray, Sanofi, Spencer Stuart, Smith and Nephew, State Street Global Advisors, Sun Life Financial, Takeda, Thomson, TRC, Tudor Investments, UBS, Unilever, and Xerox. He is equally comfortable helping executives in small and mid-sized companies.
Seth has coached leaders as part of executive education programs at Harvard Business School, the Wharton School, and Dartmouths Tuck School of Business. He is also on the faculty of the Hudson Institute, teaching in their ICF-certified coach training program. Seth received his B.A. in Economics (summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa) from Yale University and his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. He received his ICF-certified coach training at Hudson and completed his diploma in coaching supervision at Coaching Supervision Academy in London.
