For me, the CSA statement, Who We Are Is How We Coach is enhanced continually by my understanding of how culture impacts organizational, team and individual pathways. I�ve been fascinated by culture, national and organizational culture, most of my life.
I was raised on the Canadian prairies where farming was the major activity both commercially and socially, which gave me roots in the earth and its cycles. As an adult, I transitioned to the corporate world followed by the life of an entrepreneur as a professional coach, writer, and speaker.
Initially my work offered travel across North America and insights into the many different cultures in this diverse geography. Then the invitation to explore more of the world and it�s people captured me and I moved to Oman, in the Middle East. Here I�ve embraced new adventures in understanding myself, my culture and the culture of these lands.
My interest in travel and people has led to my International work as a Coaching Supervisor. Here my curiosity shines as we explore and seek a higher understanding, leading to increased resourcefulness and wisdom. My three playgrounds today, yes, playgrounds, are engaging with organizations and their cadre of Internal Coaches, engaging with Team Coaches in a group session and engaging with individual Coach Practitioners.
