Michele Lum is an executive, health and wellness coach based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Her passion for people has seen her take the leap of faith to pursue her life-calling as a coach to leaders, future leaders and teams in topics ranging from leadership, communication to health and wellness, specifically mental fitness/resilience.

Prior to becoming a coach, Michele spent more than 22 years leading in the areas of strategic marketing and communication, leadership development and culture transformation at multinational organisations such as Shandwick International, Edelman Public Relations, Mercedes-Benz Malaysia, Accenture (Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia), Fujitsu, and Petroliam Nasional Berhad (PETRONAS).

The biggest turning point in her life came in 2018, when she experienced coaching through Newfield Asia’s Ontological Coaching for Certification program. The learning, discovery and executive coaching in the program helped her break through the self-limiting belief of a cripple due to a medical condition in her life. Hip osteoarthritis caused her to physically limp and affected the way she showed up as a leader in the corporate world – one who was constantly fearful of being taken advantaged of and strove hard to be seen and heard. Through coaching, she became aware of her condition and pursued a healthy lifestyle that led to breakthroughs in her overall health and wellbeing. She went on to become a leader coach within her organisation.

In 2020, Michele made the bold move to pursue her life calling and venture into full-time executive coaching bringing to bear more than two decades of corporate experience and her passion for people’s development. Since then, she has also continued her journey as a lifelong learner and have since gained notable coaching credentials in service of her coaching clients, who are primarily C-suite executives, top talents and senior managers from oil
