She is currently working with Will Medd to co-create and deliver CSA's 'Exploring the Dance of Group Supervision'. Louise brings with her almost 20 years of experience of coaching and 6 years experience of Coach Supervision.
Living in the rural Ribble Valley in the North-West of England, I feel fortunate to be able to combine my love of nature with the opportunity to work virtually as a coach and coach supervisor with people from across the world.
As our world faces multiple challenges my own desire for different ways of relating and acting drives me in all areas of my life. And I believe change start with us as individuals. My own professional and personal development journey continues to highlight the healing power of presence – being able to pause and be present to our full selves, other human beings and the world as a whole.
It always feels a privilege to do this work as a supervisor sitting side by side coaches as they explore their work. There is something magical about co-creating a curious, safe and reflective space where both supervisor and supervisee can be fully present to what is unfolding, in which deep learning emerges. I believe supervision at its best harnesses the wisdom found in the present moment, creativity of the supervisee and allows for both vulnerability and challenge.
I believe that whatever life experiences we have had, they provide deep wisdom and learning. I have enjoyed working with a diverse range or people and organisations, including large corporates, environmental enterprises, people living and working in the prison system, not-for-profit organisations and professional dancers. My approach to supervision is deeply influenced by my work as a systems coach, somatic intelligence and spiritual practice. As a keen gardener and nature enthusiast is feels natural to liken supervision to a thriving garden: a restorative place, where there are endless opportunities to be fascinated, challenged, explore and grow.
In my personal life I also find fulfilment from spending time with family, friends, travelling, yoga, cooking and foraging for wild foods.
