Simply Supervision – Small groups with Sam
After soaking in the richness of the Americas Supervision Network Conference recently, and Edna’s evocative reflection, there, I simply must reach out with this invitation. Likewise, Margaret Wheately, Leadership and the New Science and in her most recent book, calls us to create islands of stability. My father’s splendid photo from Yosemite Valley reminds me of all this. An image that always invites me to a peaceful place of reflection.
From late July, I will be starting at least one new supervision group. Like others, this group will be 4 to 6 participants meeting 2 hours per month for six months, spacing around major holidays.
If the group who emerge want to, we can extend to 8 sessions. Six seem to go by so quickly!
Why might you join?

- To engage in the playful, insightful, juicy explorations possible in supervision with other experienced coaches.
- To keep myself clean on ethical issues and relational boundaries?
Our job as a group is to often “re-animate” the events of preceding or upcoming client engagements. In doing so, we tap into the field of energy and intelligence already surrounding us. The methods will be eclectic and draw on both my experiences and the group’s.
Past and current participants speak of sacred space and, if nothing more, time out to breathe together.
Details: Sessions begin at either 8 or 9 AM Pacific (4 PM UK, 5 PM CET). It is possible to arrange a group with Pacific Time zone afternoons.
For brand new members, the fee is $1350 for the full 12 hours. When groups extend for additional sessions, the rate is $1200 since it’s much less work for me.
